TURTLE RELEASE

Yesterday we went to the beach to watch a turtle get released back into the wild.  A couple found this turtle back in January on the beach, it was ill and taken to the Virginia Aquarium for rehabilitation.  It was at the aquarium for 6 months and was released yesterday.  It was such a great experience to be apart of!

When we first got to the beach I thought that runway was for the turtle!  I quickly realized it was a wedding when I saw the guys in matching suits, I didn't think a turtle releasing could possibly be this fancy...LOL  When we were leaving we passed the bride and Tyler yelled out that he saw a princess.  He was so excited and talked about her all the way to the car.  He was so cute!

We have a sea turtle rehabilitation hospital about an hour north of here. We went and took a tour and saw some turtles, but I hope that while we are living here we actually get to see a sea turtle released! I think its so cool that you got to do this! :D
