NORFOLK TIDES BASEBALL GAME

Later on in the evening on April 10th we went to a baseball game with the Rommels. http://www.milb.com/index.jsp?sid=t568 It was the kids first baseball game and we had a lot of fun. There were all types of silly costume races and other fun entertainment. TJ bought a hat and the kids those giant foam fingers. Between the 5 of us we ate hotdogs, nachoes, peanuts, snowcones, and I even tried a fried twinkie! It was pretty good, definitely different!

When the game was over they did something called a kids base run where one parent brings the kids to an opening on the field and they get to run around the whole field, then the other parent waits at another opening for them to come out. Well they didn't let Brooke and Peyton run out together so when they released Peyton she got nervous and ran straight to Brooke crossing the center of the field. They were yelling at her what to do but she just kept going until she reached Brooke. They had so much fun and can't wait to go again.
